Right to Be Free director Eric Peasah, is an internationally respected authority on child trafficking and child bonded labor. To date, Eric and his team have rescued over 800 children from bonded and exploitative labor.
Eric also trains and works closely with a variety of agencies that seek his expertise in Ghana and throughout Africa. He has worked with the Somalian government to rescue young girls being trafficked into the sex trade in Yemen and Saudi Arabia. He has trained law enforcement officials, civil society organizations and government agencies in Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Somalia and other coutries in Africa.
His anti-trafficking efforts and achievements have been featured in the New York Times, Oprah Winfrey Show, ABC News, Thalasa TV in France, TV5 in Hungary , Fox News and the documentary film Not My Life.
